Standard Order Processing


You can trust that your order will be quickly processed and safely delivered. Orders placed before 3p.m. EST / 12 Noon PST daily are typically processed within 24 hours/or Next Business Day, unless under certain circumstances:

  • When we are experiencing high order volumes (Holidays, Sales Events, etc.) processing may be extended by 2 business days.
  • When orders are placed after the daily cut-off time, or over the weekend, processing may be extended by 2 business days. (Meaning orders placed after noon PST on Friday will not be processed then shipped until the following Monday or next business day if Monday is a holiday)
  • When an item you ordered has an estimated ship date (i.e. Item ships within 1 to 2 weeks.)

Once your package has been shipped you will be supplied with a tracking number by email. Ames Bros is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.  If there are any issues with the delivery of your package, please contact the carrier directly (i.e. USPS, UPS, etc.)


Free Shipping

When you select our Free Shipping service you are authorizing us to choose the shipping method, and prioritize your shipment, at our sole discretion. In most cases we will process orders as follows:

  • Books are shipped via USPS Media Mail, or USPS Priority Mail.
  • Clothing is shipped via USPS First Class Mail, or USPS Priority Mail.
  • Posters are shipped via USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground.
  • Multiple items (i.e. one Book and one T-shirt) are USPS Priority Mail, or UPS Ground, and may be shipping separately from multiple wareshouses.
  • Stickers are shipped in a #9 Envelope


Standard Shipping Services

We ship via USPS and UPS throughout the United States. Shipping fees and services
will be provided upon checkout. Estimated shipping durations (i.e. 1-Day, 3
Business Days, etc.) start once your order has left our location, please allow for
standard order processing.



What you can expect

E-mail notifications will be sent to you both when we receive your order and when
your order ships from either of our warehouses.  You may receive multiple tracking numbers in the case where your order contains DTG items.

  • Back orders – When an item is out of stock we will contact you by email. You will be given the option to wait for the item to ship at a later date, or cancel the item/order.
  • International orders – Duties, taxes, and any associated import processing fees are the sole responsibility of the customer. The carrier may require additional fees associated with Customs clearance upon delivery. We offer USPS Priority Mail International, and USPS Priority Mail Express International.
  • Sales tax - Orders shipped within Washington State (WA) will incur sales tax based on your county rate at checkout. We will not charge sales tax on orders outside of Washington State, regardless of any tax requirements by your state, country or other agency. Understanding your local sales tax requirements is your responsibility.


 


Items containing the DTG icon in their product description are processed at our East Coast Distribution Center in Hialeah, Florida 33014.  DTG items are fulfilled independently from all other items in our store, and thus will be shipped separately.   Although you will not be charged multiple shipping fees, as we simply absorb the cost of shipping from two different locations, you will need to note a few things... 

  • Orders containing DTG products typically take 1-3 business days to process.
  • If your order contains DTG items and "other items" (Posters, Screen Printed Tees, Hats, Stickers, Books, etc.) the DTG items will be shipped separately from Florida, whereas all other items will be shipped from Seattle.
  • Independent tracking information will be sent by email for all orders containing DTG items.
  • International customers receiving orders that contain DTG and "other items" will receive multiple packages, and may need to account for importation of multiple shipments.  Ames Bros is not responsible for import fees, duties and or taxes on International Shipments.


Order Status

You can check your Order Status online. You will need your order number, found on the order confirmation email we sent out, and your email address.

 

Poster Sales

There are no returns on posters.  Please contact us immediately regarding any damage caused in shipping. Due to a high volume of sales, posters typically ship in 2-4 weeks, regardless of shipping method selected at checkout.

 

Special Requests

Please note that special requests cannot always be granted.  In the case when a special request can be accommodated, please understand that all special requests will delay processing and shipping.
